We ran the first Willow and Raku taster sessions on the 15th of September 2022. Our very studious attendees started at West Wales Willows in the morning to learn about willow weaving and made a tray and other small items. After a bite to eat, they arrived at RakuMania headquarters to learn about Raku glazing and firing. They all chose 2 pots on which they used a number of glazing techniques on and we then fired them in the RakuShack.
The day was a great success and everyone went home with some very personalised items and was very happy.
