It’s always a pleasure to have Jane from “The Pottery Project” to bring some of her class for a Raku Workshop. They all make things in Janes classes, have them bisque fired and arrive to us with a fabulous array of creations. Mostly returning RakuManiacs this time, so they all knew the routine and wasted no time getting the glazes out and decorating their pots / creations.
This year we had : A dragon, deer, robin, owls, a large bumble bee, ducks, dogs, Welsh ladies and miners and some lovely vases.
Besides one small mishap of an ear coming off an owl (on the second time it was fired) all the creations came out wonderfully. Everyone was happy with the results, and we look forward top seeing them all again next year.
