6 new RakuMania students joined us for an exciting day. All chose to do three pots, so it worked our that we did a naked raku firing first, then horse hair / feathers and lastly a glazed firing. Today’s winner was the naked raku firing. We had some great thick crackle, and most the students chose a bright contrasting colour for the inside. Also, some lovely effects from the horse hair, feathers and this time a number of the stdunets used some sheep’s fleece one of them bought along.
