Raku Taster Session – 17th February 2023

We ran a Raku taster session on a somewhat chilly and wet day in February. The weather was poor but we had many fabulous results with our firings. Whilst most the class stuck to decorating and firing the two pots included in the cost of the course, we had a couple of participants choose a few more pots to decorate and fire. Everyone chose to do a horse hair, feather and sugar pot and these all came out very well. For the second pot some participants did naked Raku and others used the glazes we had made up. On the whole an very successful day and everyone left happy with their pots.
