Taster Sessions - no experience needed

Did you watch the Great Pottery Throwdown? Do you remember Raku Week? Would you like to have a go at raku firing?

We offer a unique experience for everyone to have a go at raku firing. We provide pots, glazes and everything else you need to make unique raku pots.

Price : £99 per person, includes 2 pots and everything you need. Also included refreshments during the day (Bring your own packed lunch)

An exciting first time experience for those wanting to know more about Raku and have a try in a fun but safe and educational environment.

Summer dates are now released, book early to avoid disappointment.

We also offer bespoke Raku experiences and taster sessions ideal for small groups, staff team building / well being days, parties, birthday presents and special occasions. 

We start with a studio tour, a safety briefing and an explanation of how we create the finishes on our pots. You choose two pots which are ready for decorating and glazing, and then decide what you’d like to do with them. We provide all the materials and safety equipment. We’ll take you through the whole process step-by-step, you’ll take part in an unforgettable experience and have several beautiful pots to take home with you at the end of the day as a memento.
