This session was part of our “Create and Fire” workshop. Students join us for a day in the studio making up to 6 items using slip casting, slab rolling, and other hand building techniques. Once these have been bisque fired, the students then come back to raku fire their own creations. Again, we got fantastic copper finishes from a fast reduction, and the student was very happy. The platters & plates fired great and we got some wonderful results. The students all went home with fantastic creations – made, glazed and fired by them.
